1. Scope

These Terms and Conditions (T&C) apply to all orders and contracts concluded via the online shop on veronikabaun.art between Veronika Baun (hereinafter referred to as the "Seller") and the customer (hereinafter referred to as the "Customer").

By placing an order, the Customer confirms that they have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.

2. Conclusion of Contract

Shop items (Original artworks & Prints):
The presentation of products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer. By clicking the "Place order with obligation to pay" button, the Customer submits a binding order for the items in the shopping cart. The contract is concluded upon confirmation of the order by email from the Seller.

Commissioned works:
For individual commissioned works, the contract is only concluded after written agreement on subject, format and price, and confirmation by the Seller.

3. Prices, Payment and Customs

All prices are stated in Swiss Francs (CHF).

Payment is made using the payment methods offered in the online shop.

International shipping:
For deliveries outside Switzerland, additional customs duties, taxes or import charges may apply. These costs are not included in the purchase price and must be paid by the Customer directly to the relevant authorities.

4. Shipping and Delivery

Delivery is made to the address provided by the Customer.

Original artworks are carefully packaged and generally shipped with insurance.

Delivery within Switzerland usually takes 7–10 business days. For international shipments, delivery times may vary depending on the destination country.

In the event of delivery delays, the Customer will be informed accordingly.

Upon handover of the goods to the shipping provider, the risk transfers to the Customer, to the extent permitted by law.

Any transport damage must be reported to the Seller immediately, including photos of the packaging and the damage.

5. Returns and Warranty

There is no statutory right of withdrawal.

Returns or exchanges are excluded, except in cases of demonstrably defective or damaged goods.

In such cases, the damage must be reported within 48 hours of receipt. The Seller will decide on replacement, repair or refund.

Commissioned works are generally excluded from returns and exchanges.

Minor deviations in structure, colour, format or execution in handcrafted works as well as in printed products do not constitute a defect.

6. Copyright and Usage Rights

All copyrights to the artworks remain with the artist Veronika Baun.

By purchasing a work, the Customer acquires ownership of the physical object only. No additional usage rights are transferred, in particular no rights of reproduction, publication or commercial use, unless explicitly agreed in writing.

7. Representation of the Works

The Seller strives to present the artworks as accurately as possible.

However, deviations in colour and appearance due to screen settings or lighting conditions do not constitute a defect.

8. Liability

The Seller shall only be liable for damages caused by intentional or grossly negligent conduct, to the extent permitted by law.

9. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

Swiss law shall apply.

The competent courts shall have jurisdiction. Mandatory statutory places of jurisdiction remain reserved.
